The storytelling behind the iconography's development is linked to the religious essence of CHRISTUS Health, one of the top 10 most significant Catholic private healthcare institutions in the U.S. In partnership with MUGUERZA, they've established one of the most important private healthcare institutions in Northeastern Mexico.

Christus Ianua Veri (Christ is the true door): To welcome pilgrims and the faithful into the church, the figure of Christ is represented on cathedral doors. Cathedrals, specifically their stained-glass windows, arches, and rose windows, served as the foundation for this new graphic system's style.

Generally, doors are openings that allow us to enter and exit; they imply a transition from one place to another, from one level to another. Signage and a clear, concise iconographic system help visitors make this transition with certainty, translating into efficiency and a positive user experience.

The primary goal of the wayfinding project is to guide people navigating this space, optimizing their flow and preventing accidents

This is of vital importance, which is why we designed an identification system for user orientation within the physical space, directional information signs, and a customized iconographic family to standardize communication.

For the deployment of all signs, we've established typography sizes that ensure good legibility at any distance, and a modular methodology with hierarchies that will aid in the construction of any graphic needs within the space. The project was planned with a global approach, without distinction of geographical location or cultural context, encompassing everyone from personnel involved with building operations to external service providers.
